Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF)

The diversification of waste stream and the control of the supply chain are the most important tools to guarantee the constancy in supply in terms of quantity and quality. G.G.G resorts to different streams, MSW and industrial waste, sorted in the transfer station across the country. In the transfer station, the raw MSW and industrial waste are segregated in order to purify combustible fraction from the organic fraction and inert; consequently, the material is transported to the shredding station. The role of transfer stations is vital to assure high quality of the RDF and the most competitive price; as the higher is the purity of the combustible fraction the lower is the cost of transportation. The transfer stations are owned and managed by third suppliers in the framework of supplier adoption. G.G.G transfers technology know-how, quality standards guideline; and in some case we perform quality assurance .
